My Favorite Go To Cafe; Recolta Cafe, Jimbaran

Hi all, back again with me! I think I'm gonna start posting about my (late post) life in Bali journey starting now as I am having so much time to fill right now. It is this muse I am lacking so bad, I'm sorry, my bad! And for you who doesn't know yet, actually I had started my micro-blogging on instagram already, where I share about my food journey and cafe hopping esp when I was still living in Bali. Ok, so this Recolta Cafe is one of those cafes I would certainly go back to. It is located not far from my boarding house at Jimbaran. It has comfortable ambiance and also tasty food to go back to - definitely a go-to when I don't really have anywhere to go to have such quality time with me and my laptop haha 

Grilled Chicken & Cheese Pasta -  65k IDR

Some of the pictures I already posted it on my Instagram feeds, so I'm just going to quote it from there haha.

This was the first meal I ordered when I visited Recolta at my first visit. A Grilled Chicken & Cheese Pasta. This dish was already a bomb that made me certain I would make a brilliant decision to make this cafe a go every time I needed a place to chill. Since it was also near my home when I was in Bali. 🥰 

The pasta was tasty, the grilled chicken was even more! I thought it would be just a plain grilled chicken but it was rich in taste. I still remember how it taste in my mouth until this time. (Ugh i hate that I'm craving it right now) The food was undoubted, the ambiance was also very chill and quite a place."

And then this was the beverage I ordered on my first visit back then. Just a basic mochachino because one need extra focus in having quality time with only her mind and laptop at that time hahaha 

Stuffed Chicken & Mexican Rice - 70k IDR

On my second visit I got to ordered this Stuffed Chicken & Mexican Rice. Honestly the taste was not reaching my expectation. Or maybe it was just me who expected it wrong, I'm not sure. I was hoping for a kind of seasoned rice but this one was not that rich in taste, it was kind of plain to me. And the chicken was also not into my liking. I don't know but this menu was not really suited my preference. I'm putting on my personal note that I would not order this again in the future. Nothing's wrong, maybe its just not my liking hehe.

The corner sit view at Recolta Cafe. This spot was my favorite spot when I visited this cafe. It has large seating in L-shaped chair with many square pillows for your company lol. This spot given you access to widely view through out the place. Its also located near windows so when its still bright outside you can just use the sunlight to light up your spot, and when its night you also get the ambiance from the cafe lightings. You get the best view both in day or night.

Special Boba Toast - 38k IDR

Who waits for the DESSERT???? I was very excited when I ordered these menus. I mean Bobba Toast and Bobba Milktea? I mean, who can resist all these sweetness, right? It was Special Bobba Toast, the taste? You. Dont. Have. To. Doubt. They gave a big scoop of Vanilla ice cream instead of small ones. The bobba was sweet, they also gave that little crumbles and liquid brown sugar. I. Can. Not. 🤤

Salted Caramel Boba Float - 35k IDR

The other one was Salted Caramel Bobba Float. I was honestly very touched that I didn't expect the drink would be this big. The taste was sweet with a little espresso touch. The sweetness was not that excessive – that you can still satisfy your sweet tooth without having to bear such jaw pain of too many sweetness 🥰

And also special shout out to this post-modern design of its rest room area. The design of its vanity, the mirror, and also big clear window glass both on side and upper part with mangrove scenery, somehow got its way to provide such ambiance and vibes out of its design and the feeling made out from it. Its a simple beaut.

Honestly I am into such cafe hopping etc but my cafe dictionary and exploration is not yet that many, but I would love to explore much and shares it all to you so you can also visit these places one day. And I hope these cafes which I felt provide such nice services and tasty foods would also be long-lasting so I wont be confused when I wanted to go back here again one day haha
