While in Bandung: BBQ Mountain Boys

 

I don't know why it seems like I went to Bandung so often that I got some of my blog post titled "while in Bandung", lol. But the truth is, maybe I just don't know? and I am not so sure either haha  

Remembering back to it, maybe the first breakthrough of going to Bandung by myself at that time was around Aug 2021. I have usually went to Bandung, well exactly to Cimahi to visit my aunt there. But I always went there with my cousins by car, not using public transportation merely going out alone, lol.

At that time I was visiting a friend because he worked there at that moment. I remember I was just healed from having Covid at July, lol. I was still struggled to have my sleep schedule back, because when I sick my sleeping schedule literally went up and down for like 180 degree. I told him that already, but he kept insisted me to go instead, lol. He told me to go via travel shuttle as he usually did. I never went with shuttle before, so I was kind of nervous yet excited bc that was gonna be my first time again traveling out of town alone. Trying things for the first time, while also, I always loving the idea of going away - run away (you name it), somehow.

So yeah, that marked my first time ever going to Bandung alone in occasion of having holiday with friends, not with family, lol. After that time, I found my self going back and forth to Bandung many times (well not so many though). But compare it to years before, I only went to Bandung once year or even just once in every two year (to visit a family), but last year I already went back and forth for couple times like just in a year haha.

Okay, back to our visit to BBQ Mountain Boys. How was the food? How was the place?

Honestly I went to this BBQ MB because I saw many of my friend went here too so I was kind of curious, apakah seenak itu? Turned out when I came, for me maybe this is kind of overrated.

The place I thought it would be kind of secluded or got that premium vibes, but for me it was just so so hehe maybe I placed my expectation too high already. Actually this place is in Paskal Area, like just in the middle of park with ruko surrounding it -kind of. And the burger is good, but just that good. I still have my best burger in Lawless hehe
