Serene Fawn: SLAMETAN, Inauguration Night by Architecture 2014

I did tell you already that first week of November was that kind of hectic to me, including having my self prepared for this Inauguration Night held by Architecture batch 2014 in my major.

so, what is that Inauguration Night?

yeah you said it already, it's the night when the freshman in my major finally be free of not having any responsibility to held such event that our freshmen have to do. yeah kind like that. the event itself actually is about hand-overing Architecture plat from batch 2014 to batch 2015 that was represented by each batch coordinator. and the rest, just us having some fun.

while me and my friends were just joining saman traditional dance club, then suddenly that our club was asked to perform on that night. i know, hell yeah hectic, right.

Slametan, is the title of the Inauguration Night, they use it because to them, inauguration is such a "slametan" thing that they have to celebrate but it also because they took "Indonesian Culture" as the event theme, so, yeah you would just comprehend. each batch was gambled to be given each Indonesian Culture as per batch's theme. each batch have to wear costumes and do performance that is suitable to their Indonesian Culture, and my batch got Betawi.

while me, i just enough hectic things to do so I was just kind of only focusing of what I gotta do, (such practicing saman dance so I wouldn't be ashamed of my mistaken dancing :'')). I was honestly didn't really got all excited about the event because.. I don't know, but I did get excited about the saman performance even though not all will do. but still. I didn't really get confused of the stuffs I was gonna wear to the event (because I thought I would just wear saman costume instead) but turned out I turned a bit panicked at the D-1, but all is well, I know.

done the last practice on Friday night, then we all got home and prepared ourselves for tomorrow's performance. while then, at the Saturday morning, me and my friends still had to manage Insting that was delayed because the day before was raining... so then, we still attended and looked after the event, then we gathered with saman kids and did a little practice at GOR UNS to then we were going home for us to again be prepared and in the evening came early to the venue so we could prepare ourselves. yes, much preparations, I know.

Trial and Error Make Up, by myself. lol

I have never done a proper make up before but then forced to make up just by yourself, all you just gotta do was only trial and error, but gladly the result turned out, not too bad.. :P
