Saturday at Masagi Koffee Batu.Bata

From Ciumbuleuit to Cilenggang, I guess?

Hello again my friend hehe
Actually it got me a really long time to finally had the mood and the chances to update this blog, once again. But still, no matter how busy life gets, no matter how much I forgot about this blog. When I had my spare time and the mood, I will still be back on this page of mine. Pouring all my thoughts while sharing some photographs I took. Another reasons for me to travel and visit some nice places, took some photograph out of it and then posting it on my blog while just pouring any words that can come out from my writing. Maybe that just one of the way I cope with life. One of the things that keep me sane -- being back on my blog.

Sometimes, when not in the mood. We can't even find a words to say, right. Even when we had so much to say. But mind's messy, sometimes. So when the timing is right, when the mood and the ambiance is right, we should savour the moment, right?

Started on that one random intagram post passing through my timeline. I saw that there's this coffee shop in South Tangerang that I know initially is in Bandung -- Masagi Koffee. My friend once recommended me to go there if  I visit Bandung, too bad I didn't really got the chance because I prefer going to somewhere else I thought the place would be more aesthetically pleasing on my preference. But this one Masagi Koffee opening in Tangerang is actually in one place with Architecture Studio called Studio Air Putih. Imagine how much my architect soul is calling, right? haha

This is one why I love going to aesthetically pleasing coffee shops in my preference, just to fill in my architect cravings within me haha. Also another reason to travel and visit new places, right.

Having a year in my professional journey working in architecture studio, I think I have my conclusion that I better had this creative mind of mine as a hobby that I worked on only on weekends or my spare time. Because turned out that my creative senses didn't really work well in tight schedule haha. That is why I prefer to enjoy it in a real chill and calming ambiance. That is when my artsy soul worked best, I guess.

Lets take a look around before we ordered the menu, shall we? #jelajaharsitektur

The cafe itself offers two kind of seating, indoors and outdoors. They have larger outdoor area than the indoor. I was looking for indoor area because I wanted to have my quality time with my laptop, so I decided that I didn't want to smoke, more of that, I also searched for a nearby power outlet so I could charge my laptop if needed.

For a viral coffee shop, they didn't provide much seating in indoor area and no power outlet as well. That time I sat near a standing lamp so I kind of borrowed the power outlet since it was broad daylight. But good thing is, the indoor area felt quite homey for me. It is indeed like a well-designed coffee shop that it made you feel like home. Too bad since it was still their new opening, there was so much people coming and queuing in indoor area for ordering the menu.

The coffee and the light meals felt quite pricey for me. Compared to the "too many people" ambiance, and also located in Cilenggang. For a coffee shop located in the area that it is not really in commercial or high demand area, the price of the menu is quite significant, I think. But still, appreciation for its seclusion. Who doesn't love a please that is pleasing to the eye, yet not too crowded? Or maybe a place that is still beautiful even though its crowded? I doubt that tho. I wish they wouldn't be too crowded or at least the next time I go there hehe

Masagi Koffee Batu Bata -- a beautiful place, always loved a coffee shop with uncommon design. But I think they can do better for some parts. After all, still a nice place to visit, nice coffee, nice light bites. And thank you for the free mineral water since they told me they haven't really started to sell mineral water because they're still opening haha (mineral & sparkling water cost much tho haha) :''')
